The Wessex Wizards was born from a small group of triathletes who started Open Water Swimming at Weymouth in September 2007.  That group of eight has now become 100! Although relatively new compared to some clubs, we are ambitious and continue to grow. Our are aim is to achieve the British Triathlon Federations STAR accreditation later this year.

We have two ASA qualified level 3 coaches for our swimming sessions, with group cycling sessions for all levels. 

We have developed a strong link with Yeovil Town Road Running Club, who allow Wizard members to train with them at their coached  running sessions.

Our membership is open to all.  We have a good mix of ages and ability.   Members enjoy competing in all race lengths from sprints to ironman.  If you are interested in more information then please contact the club at [email protected]
